ScanSimple prints to any Zebra (ZPL) printer or DYMO LabelWriter through the ScanSimple Connector, a small app for Windows and macOS on the computer the printer is attached to.

Before you start

  • Install your printer's driver and print a test page from the computer.
  • For DYMO, install DYMO Connect for Desktop and keep it running.

Set up

  1. Open the profile menu and choose Printers (admins only).
  2. Download and install the ScanSimple Connector.
  3. Click Get pairing code and enter the 8-character code in the Connector. The code expires after 10 minutes.
  4. Choose your printer. It becomes your company's default.

The Connector only makes outbound HTTPS connections: no open ports, router changes, or firewall rules.
